Why home physiotherapy works
The people who most need physiotherapy are often the ones who can least easily travel to it. Someone six days past a knee replacement should not be negotiating a matatu. Someone recovering from a stroke may need two sessions a week for months, and every one of those journeys is a reason to cancel.
Treating at home removes that friction entirely. Attendance goes up, and attendance is what determines outcomes.
It also makes the treatment better
Your home is where the actual problem lives. We can see the stairs you are struggling with, the chair you sit in for eight hours, the bathroom you are afraid of falling in. That turns generic advice into specific advice:
- Which side of the bed to get out of, given your surgery
- Where to add a grab rail, and at what height
- How to set up your desk so your neck stops flaring by Thursday
- Which step to practise on, and how to do it safely alone
A clinic gym cannot show you any of that.
What a home visit includes
A full assessment on the first visit, hands-on treatment, a short exercise programme using what you already own, and clear guidance for whoever is helping you day to day. We write the plan down and leave it with you, because the person supporting a recovering patient often is not in the room when we explain it.

Common questions
Which parts of Nairobi do you cover?
Westlands, Karen, Parklands, Lavington, Kilimani, Ngong Road and Upper Hill as standard, and further across Nairobi by arrangement. Ask when you book and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you reliably.
Do I need special equipment at home?
No. We bring what we need. All that helps is a firm surface to lie on, a bed or a mat, and enough clear floor space to move in.
Is a home visit more expensive?
There is a travel component, which varies by area. Rates are on our pricing page and we confirm the total before your first appointment. No surprises.
Can you treat my parent who cannot get out of bed?
Yes. Bed-bound and limited-mobility patients are a large part of our home caseload, including stroke recovery and rehabilitation after hip and knee surgery.
